Gentle readers of this American Chronicle, if this were a Poker Game, I would bet that corporate money and power won't beat Mother Nature any better than they beat the sweeping Wall Street reforms President Obama just signed into existence. Mother Nature's global warming card is hidden but it does exist and when She turns it over, it will wipe out any and all corporate and government fools, who bet against her. This week, Democrats shattered the Republican unemployment insurance filibuster, and President Obama signed the most sweeping reform of Wall Street since the Great Depression.
How did Republicans respond? "REPEAL IT!"
That's their plan, and they're getting help. Karl Rove is pulling out his old playbook on behalf of a shady new group that's using secret donors to try to dig up dirt on our candidates. In all, GOP-aligned groups plan to spend $300 million to beat Democrats.

The DSCC has its finger on the pulse of races from coast to coast, and one thing's for sure: We simply cannot let these Republicans win:
I know you`re watching the California race closely, where Carly Fiorina thinks that outsourcing jobs and nearly running a company into the ground somehow qualifies her to create jobs and fix the economy.
In Nevada, Republican Sharron Angle wants to eliminate Social Security and has said people are "looking toward those Second Amendment remedies" to protect themselves from "tyrannical government."
In Kentucky, Republican Rand Paul takes issue with parts of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and said people who are out of work need "tough love," not unemployment benefits.
I'm not going to lie to you: This election will be tough, thanks to the Republicans' almost unlimited funding. And history is on their side - the party holding the White House tends to lose seats in midterm elections.
But we can beat them. We must beat them. Nothing less than the direction of our nation is hanging in the balance during these final 100 days.
